FAQ'S
What Should I Wear to My Appointment?
For the best experience, we recommend wearing nude, seam-free underwear, a strapless bra, or pasties. Please avoid fake tan or makeup, as it can be difficult to remove from dresses. Keep your hair up or bring a hair tie so we can fully see your beautiful face!
How Long Does it Take for My Dress to Be Made?
Each gown is made to order by our talented designers worldwide, so the timeline depends on the complexity of the design. On average, expect a lead time of 6-8 months. Need your dress sooner? We offer Rush Orders, with delivery in 8-12 weeks, depending on the design. For example, a hand-beaded bodice takes longer than a simple slip dress.
Do You Do Alterations In-Store?
While we don’t offer in-house alterations, we work with some amazing professionals who do! We’ll be happy to provide you with recommendations for trusted alteration experts like Ilka and Theressa Designs and Annabella.
When Should I Book My Appointment?
We recommend booking your appointment at least 12 months before your wedding. Every bride’s journey is different, and having plenty of time will give you the best chance to find your dream dress!
Who Can Come With Me to My Appointment?
Although we are a private Studio, we are also a small studio. We can accommodate 4 additional guests plus whoever is trying on.
Do You Accept Walk-ins?
We are appointment-only to ensure each bride gets a personalised experience. On rare occasions when we have availability, we may accept walk-ins, but we always recommend booking in advance to fully enjoy the experience with your closest friends and family.
What Should I Bring to My Appointment?
Come with yourself, your entourage, and an open mind! We love seeing inspiration photos, and we always start with a chat to make sure we understand what you're looking for, helping us find the perfect style for you.
Tips to Nail Your Appointment
-
Try Your Day-Of Hairstyle – Wear your hair as you’d like it on the big day, or at least in a similar style, so you can get the full bridal look.
-
Bring Heels – This helps you visualize the height you'll be on your wedding day and see how your dress falls.
-
Book a Weekday Appointment – If you're feeling nervous, weekdays tend to have a calmer atmosphere, giving you more space to relax and enjoy the process.
-
Let Us Know if You’re Not Ready to Buy – If you’re still figuring things out, just let your stylist know you're not looking to purchase yet. This way, there’s zero pressure.
-
Try a "Wild Card" Dress – Ask to try something you never thought you’d wear! You might just surprise yourself and fall in love with a totally unexpected style.
-
Do Your Research – Check out the designers and styles available in-store before your appointment. This way, you’ll know what you love and what you want to try on!
